Our precision flats are manufactured with absolute control over edge profile, width, thickness, and other key parameters to ensure optimal delivery and application in an array of end-use environments. Our flat wire thickness range is between 0.0002” – 0.210”(0.00508 mm – 5.33 mm) and the width range is between 0.002” – 1.00”(0.05 mm – 25.40 mm). We can also prescribe intermediary annealing stages to remove internal stresses and yield the toughest possible wire products based on a broad range of alloys, from stainless steels to nitinol flat wire.

Ulbrich offers packaging options in the form of spools and bobbins for wire over .10”. For dimensions between .010″ – .060″ x .100-.375″ we offer block coils with 4″ or 6″ cores, W5 spools, W3 spools, pancake coils, or cut To Length. For dimensions between .060″ – .100″ x < .375″ we offer block coils with 4″ or 6″ cores, W5 spools or cut to length. For dimensions between 060″ – .100″ x > .375″ we offer block coils with 4″ or 6″ cores, large steel reels, W5 spool, pancake coils or cut to length. For >.100″ x > .375″ we offer block coils with 4″ or 6″ cores or cut to length.
Global Melt Sources: Titanium Supply Chain
The majority of our titanium is sourced in the U.S. which makes for much more secure supply chains. Being a precision re-roller means we have the benefit of not having to source flat wire directly from our suppliers, because we make it ourselves. Additionally, we also have various global melt sources that we can utilize as needed to meet your specific needs.
