About Nickel
Nickel is a silvery-white lustrous metal with a slight golden tint. Pure nickel is a malleable and ductile metal. It is also a reasonable conductor of heat and electricity. Nickel is slowly oxidized by air at room temperature, and is considered to be an excellent alloying element for it’s corrosion resistance. It’s ability to resist corrosion makes it a widely useful alloy in manufacturing end use applications that require high resistance to corrosive conditions. Cold Rolled nickel foil and strip are commonly used in battery manufacturing as well as high temperature applications.
