From very light to heavy gauge and very narrow to wide width, it’s all available at this one stop shop in the heart of the Midwest (Chicago) Ulbrich of Illinois is part of the The Ulbrich Service Center Group. Each facility within the Group is a stand-alone service center with their own executive management, order entry, and customer service capabilities. Materials originate from either our own rolling mill or strategic vendors. Our metals meet the highest quality standards in the industry. We offer over 140 alloys to choose from including extensive inventories of 300 series, 400 series, precipitation hardening stainless steels, and special metals. We also stock to meet the regional requirements of our individual customers and markets.
- State-of-the-art equipment are equipped with statistical process controls (SPC) at each slitter station to maintain tight dimensional tolerances.
- Special skived or rolled edges are available including deburred, square, and full round.
- Orders of production or prototype quantities are processed quickly and efficiently and usually delivered within one week or less
- Our packaging options include ribbon wound coils & oscillate wound coils.
- Oscillate (or traverse) Wound Strip is available on either open coils or a wide variety of standard and custom spools.
