Custom Coating Options
We expertly apply various peelable Plastisol PVC coatings to protect the surface of the coil during your processing operations. And depending on your exact requirements, the protective coatings can be applied with various thicknesses, adhesion properties, colors, and opacity.
For sophisticated coatings and plating that aim to do more than merely protect the surface, Ulbrich works with several outside vendors. With them, we help bring your product to completion so you don't need to send your coil to a coater and deal with the additional logistics, scrap, and paperwork.
Precious Metals Plating
In addition to custom coating options, Ulbrich also offers wire plating services. With our own cutting-edge production lines and a century of experience, we can plate almost any precious metal on special purpose alloys. From Tin to Gold, our multiple plating lines can handle any needs you have for Precision Flat & Fine Wire products.
Strip + Foil
Re-roller and distributor of over 100 alloys of precision strip and foil including stainless steel, titanium, nickel alloy and cobalt alloy.
Fine & Flat Wire
Custom engineered precision wire products including; Fine Wire, Round Wire, Flat Wire, and Shaped Profiles.
Shaped Wire
Shaped Wire is produced to exacting cross-sectional dimensions in our dedicated shaped wire facility. Shaped profile wire minimizes or eliminates costly machining by being net, or near net, in shape.

Ulbrich Specialty Wire Group has in-house plating capabilities for fine, round, flat, square and shaped wire products. Standard plating options include but are not limited to:
